Shrimp is one of the most popular types of seafood. Frozen, they are sold in almost every store and supermarket, fresh they can be bought at the market from fishermen.

There are a large number of dishes, an integral ingredient of which are shrimp. Also, these seafood can be consumed on their own as a snack. Breaded shrimp is a popular snack dish.

Preparation of ingredients

To fry shrimp in breadcrumbs, you should take the following ingredients:

  • shrimp (you can take king, tiger, salad, Atlantic or other subspecies);
  • breadcrumbs (you can use purchased ones or make your own breadcrumbs);
  • chicken egg (we will use only protein);
  • Wheat flour;
  • paprika;
  • vegetable oil;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

Step by step process

First you need to start preparing the shrimp, namely: cleaning them. It should be noted that for the preparation of this dish you will need to use only the tails, the heads will not be useful.

So, the tails must be separated from the shell and the esophagus removed from them. This can be done with a sharp knife by cutting open the shrimp. Further, according to the same cut, the shrimp must be “opened”, as it were.

The next step is to start the breading process. So, in 3 different bowls we place: egg white (add salt and paprika to it), flour and breadcrumbs. It is necessary to bread each shrimp: first in flour, then in egg white, and then in breadcrumbs.

In order to make breadcrumbs yourself, it is enough to smash small pieces of white bread on a blender (you can also use any other unsweetened bakery products made from wheat flour).

Now, in a well-heated vegetable oil in a frying pan or in a saucepan, we lower the seafood for literally 3-4 minutes (the time depends on the size of the seafood and the power of the stove). Generally speaking, for the preparation of this dish it is desirable to use deep fat, however, in the absence of such, you can get by with more familiar kitchen utensils.

After that, we take out the shrimp and put them on a paper napkin (this is necessary in order to get rid of the excess fat that the seafood is saturated with).

How to apply?

You can serve breaded seafood with a side dish (for example, rice or Chinese noodles), as well as sauces (soy, sweet and sour or mayonnaise are good). Also, seafood can be decorated with herbs. Take care of the dishes too - a large rounded glossy plate is perfect for serving breaded shrimp.

  • olive oil - 2 tbsp. l. ;
  • liquid honey - 2 tbsp. l. ;
  • curry - a pinch;
  • ginger - 30 g;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • salt and pepper - to taste;
  • shrimp - 200 g;
  • mango - 1 pc. ;
  • greens - to taste.

Cooking: Pour olive oil, honey, curry, grated ginger and minced garlic into the pan. Add salt and pepper, bring the mixture to a boil.

Then put the peeled shrimp (leave only the tail) and simmer them, turning occasionally, over medium heat for about ten minutes. Peel the mango and cut into cubes.

Using wooden skewers or toothpicks, dice the mango and shrimp. Decorate with greenery.

Ingredients:

  • cucumber - 1 pc. ;
  • bell pepper - 1 pc. ;
  • greens - to taste;
  • shrimp - 300 g;
  • corn - 50 g;
  • mayonnaise - 2 tbsp. l. ;
  • tartlets - 1 pack.

Cooking: chop the cucumber, pepper, herbs and shrimp (leave some of the shrimp for decoration). Add corn, season with mayonnaise. Put the resulting salad into tartlets, decorate with shrimp on top.

  • shrimp - 200 g;
  • olive oil - 4 tbsp. l. ;
  • salt and pepper - to taste;
  • lime - 1 pc. ;
  • cilantro - to taste.

Cooking: clean the shrimp (leave the tails). Drizzle them with olive oil, salt and leave for a few minutes. Then fry them in a hot frying pan without oil for one to two minutes.

Boil and clean the shrimp, then put them in special molds for julienne - cocotte makers (leave some of the shrimp to decorate the snack). Pour them with a creamy mass, sprinkle with grated cheese on top and bake in the oven, heated to 200 degrees, for five to ten minutes.

Before serving, decorate with herbs and shrimp.

  • tomatoes - 2 pcs. ;
  • chili pepper - ½ tsp ;
  • lime juice - 2 tbsp. l. ;
  • vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l. ;
  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • red onion - 1 pc. ;
  • shrimp - 250 g;
  • greens - to taste;
  • tacos (corn tortillas) - 10 pcs. ;
  • iceberg lettuce - 200 g;
  • liquid sour cream - 2 tbsp. l.

Cooking: finely chop the tomatoes, add chili pepper and lime juice to them, mix. Fry chopped garlic and onion in a pan in vegetable oil. Add cleaned shrimp, stir. Then add tomato mixture. Simmer for another five to ten minutes, stirring occasionally. A few minutes before readiness, put chopped greens.

Heat the tacos in the oven for five minutes. Top them with chopped iceberg lettuce, then the tomato-shrimp mixture.

Before serving, pour over the appetizer with sour cream and garnish with herbs.

  • vegetable oil;
  • salt and pepper - to taste;
  • olive oil;
  • garlic - 1 clove;
  • shrimp - 500 g;

To prepare this simple recipe, you need to take:

Shrimp, Atlantic, king, tiger or any other large 3-5 pieces per serving;

White breadcrumbs;

Oil for frying;

A couple of cloves of garlic;

Lemon for serving.

We do not have fresh large shrimp, so I buy fresh frozen ones - they are no worse in quality, the main thing is to look at the packing date and expiration date on the packaging.

We clean the garlic and shrimp and rinse with cold running water. From the backs of shrimp, it is important not to forget to remove the thin esophagus, which may contain fine sand. If this is not done, the dish will be spoiled.

It is enough to crush the garlic with a knife blade, it is only needed to flavor the frying oil.

Quickly fry the garlic in boiling oil and remove it from the pan.

Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and coat each in breadcrumbs.

You need to fry them in a few pieces, slowly, in small portions. I have 10 shrimp, I fry 5 and then 5 more.

Cook them for about 2 minutes over medium heat,

then carefully flip each one individually and bring to readiness for another 2 minutes.

It is not necessary to cover the pan with a lid.
