The first impression was not very happy. Rather depressing. Now we can say with confidence that you cannot rent an apartment in Cambodia over the Internet for a long time. Because until you see it with your own eyes, you will not understand whether this place is good or bad. You can rent for three days, and then on the spot you can already choose housing for a long time. Our first impressions of the country were largely due to the poor area in which we settled for a month. It has been a month since we moved to another area. So what can we say about Cambodia now? Note that each of the 10 points requires a separate article. Here it will be about everything in brief.

1. Khmer

Khmers are kind and helpful people. Once, when I was sitting on the beach and admiring the sea, it seemed to them that I was upset about something. They asked me if everything was fine, if I needed help, asked me to smile, otherwise “look how happy everyone is around, you are not smiling alone”. I feel that here some may notice that these compassionate guys just wanted to speak and rob me. But this is unlikely. Unnoticeably, pulling something off, seizing a convenient moment - they can. But deliberately starting a conversation in order to distract and steal is too complex a scheme in which the robbers can also be remembered. Such schemes are encountered, but only with drunken Europeans who cannot remember themselves.

Khmer - sports... Near one of the temples in Sihanoukville, there is a place where young people are going to play badminton every day (by the way, very many people here love this game) and do aerobics to the music. Volleyball and football are also played.

Khmers play volleyball on Nice Beach. Photo fox2fox.today

Beggars we saw three times. Don't bother. They say that in Siem Reap you can't fight them off. And in Sihanoukville, this is still very much even nothing.

By the way, about poverty. I just want to say a hackneyed phrase in which only the name of the city changes - Sihanoukville is a city of contrasts. It is easy to meet people here, living in huts, their planks knocked together, or in tarpaulin tents. It is just as easy to see a swanky jeep parked in front of a scary hut. Jeep of the owner of the house.

Some Khmers know Russian. One cashier in a local store spits in Russian so much that we did not immediately realize that she was Khmer. He also manages to joke in Russian.

2. Crime

We already we are not afraid to walk and drive around the city at nightfall... We were really afraid in the early days, having read passions about crime in Cambodia. And the area in which we lived, with all its appearance prompted: "Stay at home!". As it turned out, you can walk the streets all night and not find yourself unpleasant adventures. The main thing is not to get into unlit eben. Well, not to be a drunken rich fool who tells everyone and shows how much money he has, and then falls asleep on the bar counter.

But, I must say, the stories about theft we read on the Internet turned out to be true. Steal... Bikes, bags and everything that is bad. So the principle of a safe life is this: you need everything to be good. In the sense that the bike should not be parked alone somewhere in the jungle, but in a decent parking lot next to other bikes. In addition, do not forget to "close" the wheel and lock the steering wheel. By the way, if you leave not a passport, but money as a deposit when you rent a bike, then the amount will be impressive. As a rule, from $ 800 and more (so that in the event of theft, the owner of the bike does not incur special losses). Well, the fact that you shouldn't light your way with an iPhone in a dark alley is already just a byword. Having made purchases in the store, it is better to remove change without leaving the checkout, and not shove the bucks into your pockets on the street. Well, in general, you understand the principle: simple rules of careful handling of valuable things - and life will become calmer.

So far (pah-pah-pah) we have never been robbed. Even things left unattended on the beach for several hours remained safe and sound with all the contents in their pockets. Perhaps we were just lucky. But it's nice to remember this.

3. Traffic and police

The movement is hellish. In the early days, it didn't seem to us. This is true. To turn left from the extreme right lane is in the order of things (I remind you that in Cambodia, right-hand traffic). Passing a busy intersection at a red light without looking around at all is the norm. At the same time, everyone travels very slowly. Average speed of movement is 20-30 km / h. We did not even suspect that you can go so slowly that the speed of the biker is already almost equal to the speed of a standing person. And they break it too slowly and boringly.

Although, to my credit, we saw a few bikers who even looked at the mirrors and turned on the turn signals.

As for the roads themselves, our opinion has not changed. They are here ... in the amount of 4-5 pieces. Everything else is a terrible mess of dirt and dust or asphalt with so many holes and holes that it is not possible to drive on it at speeds above 20 km / h.

Cambodian police officer. Photo fox2fox.today

Policemen are on the roads almost every day. At the same time, during the day they just stand in groups of 2-4 people, slow down and ask for a fine-bribe of $ 1-5. In the evening, they can arrange a real raid with cones on the road. If you find yourself in such a raid, be prepared for large fines. Thank God, we have safely passed such places so far, but we have heard stories about the size of the fine: $ 20-50. They are fined mainly for driving without a helmet (in Cambodia, only the driver needs a helmet) and for lack of rights (only local Cambodian rights are valid, they can be obtained if you already have at least some rights, but it is useless to present the international rights of another country).

4. Lodging

It turned out that you can find inexpensive and pleasant accommodation with a wonderful view of the sea. Now we live in a decent hotel on the shore of one of the beaches (the sea is across the road) and pay $ 170 per room per month. At the same time, it is not forbidden to cook and smoke in the room.

5. Sea

The sea is beautiful... There were no waves, and there are still no waves. Sometimes it feels like this is not the sea, but the lake - it is so quiet. Even in the rainy season.

Otres beach. Photo fox2fox.today

Some beaches look unkempt, but if you really want the purest sand, then welcome to Sokha Beach.

A cafe there are popular beaches.

I would like to rehabilitate Nice Beach behind the airport. In our article about the sea, we described our first visit there. He was very unfortunate. The sea seemed dirty, the coast was littered with garbage, in short, horror. Recently, we went to this beach again and drove along it. It turned out to be very long and not so dirty. There is a small village on the beach.

Photo fox2fox.today

The sea on Nice beach is not transparent, unclear. The grayish color of the water is due to the almost black sand. But the swim was quite pleasant. The only thing that confuses is a very flat bottom. You go, you go, and you are all knee-deep.

Nice beach. Photo fox2fox.today

Our favorite beach is Victory... It is quiet, beautiful, and, contrary to the opinion of many "bloggers", you can swim in it. The noisiest beach is Ochutel. His, albeit a stretch, but can be compared with Patong.

6. Markets, shops and groceries

Convenience stores are available. Well, there is definitely one. We saw it ourselves. And even went.

There are several markets. The two most famous are day market near the popular Samudera supermarket and the Ochutela night market. Daytime closes at approximately 17:00 - 17:30. You can find anything there, from raw fish to concert consoles. Night market not that night. At 12 in the morning everything is already closed there. In addition, there is a small selection of goods.

Sihanoukville Night Market. Photo kampuchia.ru

You need to bargain always and everywhere... Especially in the markets. Without bargaining, out of the kindness of your soul, you can buy 2 fried chicken legs for $ 3. If you bargain, it will be 3 times cheaper. It is advisable to learn a few phrases in Khmer and Khmer numerals. Then the sellers will be much more accommodating. Not traded, perhaps, only in large stores.

Popular stores 2: Samudera and Orange... There are products for every taste and color. Yesterday, for example, we bought wonderful mugs with minions:

Photo fox2fox.today

But seriously, the assortment is really good. The choice of products is good - what is called “I don’t want to choose”. Just keep in mind that you need to pay attention to shelf life and assess the “suspiciousness” of the product. Themselves from the expired saw only moldy baked goods (so moldy that even an inattentive person would have noticed). We've also heard about "burnt" canned tuna. So our business is to warn.

We will certainly post prices for the most basic products on the site. In the meantime, you can navigate the prices here on this check. So much we left yesterday inSamudera. Prices are in dollars.

Photo fox2fox.today

7. Money

There are two currencies in use - riels and US dollars. You can pay with dollars anywhere and for anything. Bloggers write that dollars are more readily accepted. We did not notice much difference, perhaps the willingness has pragmatic roots - if you pay in dollars, you get fewer pieces of paper.

Riel to dollar exchange rate is 4,000 riels per dollar. For a long time we were confused about local money, but everything turns out to be easier if we immediately identify riels with dollars. 1,000 riels - 25 cents, 500 riels - 12.5 cents, 5,000 riels - $ 1.25, 10,000 - $ 2.5, 20,000 - $ 5.

We haven't seen coins in Cambodia at all. The smallest bill is 100 riels and it is paper. However, they say that coins exist in Cambodia, and someone's grandfather once even saw them.

Sellers often have no change. It was difficult to get used to it after Thailand, but it is a fact. There is change from small bills, but God forbid you to give 50 or 100 dollars in a cafe or small shop. You should always have small bills with you!

You can change money at any bank. This is a free procedure, a passport is not required for exchange. Suffice it to say something like “Change me, please. One, Two, Five, Ten dollars ”and hold out a $ 50- $ 100 bill. On weekends, banks are closed, but "Samudera" is open, in which there is always change. On weekends, we change money there, buying small things.

By the way, ATMs issue exclusively dollars.

8. Local Russians

Local Russians, as from the first days, seemed to us very cute and responsive people, and remain so to this day. In addition, many of them are very talented... They organize ART evenings, exhibitions, sing songs and play musical instruments.

They are athletic and well organized.: play football (adults and children), volleyball, arrange motocross.

Sihanoukville is a fairly large city by the standards of Cambodia, and there are not only hotels for vacationers on the beach. For example, here, at the entrance to the city, there is a brewery "Angkor". The center of Sihanoukville is not on the seashore, but at a distance of about one and a half kilometers from it, but due to the terrain, it is possible to walk three kilometers to the nearest beach, Serendipity, or ride a motorcycle taxi for a dollar.

// juan.livejournal.com

For tourists, the city center is interesting mainly because there is a market and a supermarket "Sumadera" - probably the most respectable supermarket in the city, where you can buy both imported delicacies and local Sihanoukville milk. It's sad to live without a market, because fruits and vegetables are not sold on the beaches. You can also live in a hotel in the city center, which I did all the time.

// juan.livejournal.com

The Zhongguo Guesthouse ("China") is located near the central market and the Capitol bus stop. It's nice that seasonality does not affect the price - the room costs $ 10 both in August and December. This is a truly Chinese hotel - there are even charms on the doors.

// juan.livejournal.com

The rooms are spacious, there is air conditioning, hot showers, decent Wi-fi.

In the center, you always have all kinds of fruits at your side, in the morning you can buy crispy French buns for 700 riels ($ 0.18). Other services are also available, for example, you can get a haircut for $ 1. But you won't be able to wake up and go to the beach, walk there for about 40 minutes, or ride a motorcycle. But if it doesn't matter to you, then a hotel is an option, because you can't find such quality accommodation near the beach for $ 10, especially in the high season.

The whole hangout in Sihanoukville is on Serendipity Beach. The rest are more suitable for meditation, while Serendipiti is all about bars.

// juan.livejournal.com

It all starts at the intersection with the statue of lions.

// juan.livejournal.com

There are many casinos around. People come to Cambodia from Thailand and Vietnam, where gambling is prohibited. Unlike Macau, you can play poker here.

On the first line of the beach, there are only bars, soft chairs and tables with them, respectively, to sit on the beach with comfort (and not on the sand), you need to buy a shake or coffee for $ 1. Very convenient, because you still need a cool drink, and when the sun loungers belong to hotels, getting them is problematic or expensive.

Happy hours are here around the clock. Cocktails for $ 2, beer for $ 0.5.

Here they take selfies more than swim, and on the beach, kebabs and other Chinese snacks are actively sold.

Sihanoukville's nightlife is concentrated in the Serendipity area. You should not expect something like a Full Moon Party - there are much fewer people, but nevertheless it is a great rarity for the region - a European-style disco where people light up on the dance floor, instead of sitting at tables with beer.

// juan.livejournal.com

The oldest bar in Sihanoukville is Utopia. It's more of a pre-party place in the evening. You can live there in a hostel for $ 2 per bed in a room without air conditioning or $ 3 with air conditioning.

It is in full swing, and those who are interested in "party" beaches should pay attention to the Serendipity Beach. And near Ochheuteal Beach, everyone can find many restaurants and nightclubs.

Nightlife in Sihanoukville

French Street and Pub Street are Sihanoukville's bar streets, where men are invited by girls to treat them to cocktails.

Those who wish will be offered to join the evening excursion in an air-conditioned comfortable minibus (accommodates 12 passengers) in Sihanoukville, lasting from 17:00 to 23:00. Tourists will meet the sunset on one of Sihanoukville's beaches, attend a fire show, take part in a cocktail party and tea ceremony, tastings of various types of tea, enjoy shark soup during dinner in a restaurant, enjoy a music program (saxophone solo) and alcohol program in the bar (guests will be entertained by Khmer girls-dancers).

Sihanoukville nightlife

Monkey Republic (located near Serendipity Beach) offers pool tables, free internet, a restaurant (serving large portions of Khmer and Western food at low prices) and a bar with good music from British DJs (at happy hours, beer is sold for 0, $ 75).

The Big Easy features Indie Disco, karaoke, sports broadcasts, cheap food and drinks, Maybe Later delights visitors with original cocktails and Mexican dishes, and Kong Bar is famous for live music and a rich assortment of drinks.

In the Australian pub G'day Mate, operating around the clock, you will be able to use the free Internet, listen to music, keep yourself occupied with playing billiards and watching sports channels (large TV screens are available).

Visitors to Charlie Harpers will be offered to enjoy Asian, Mexican and Western cuisine, watch sports events on the big screens, exchange news with other visitors, order beer and other drinks at the bar. The establishment pampers guests with a long happy hour (it lasts from 15:00 to 20:00).

The Star Bar will offer you to quench your thirst with cold Angko beer (regular price - $ 0.75; at happy hour - $ 0.5), play pool, taste local dishes with a European accent (barbecue - $ 2 every Wednesday evening).

Bamboo Bar is a Russian bar on Ochheuteal Beach, where guests are invited to enjoy vegetarian dishes and high-quality alcoholic drinks (there is a huge selection of cocktails - Spring Punch, Old Cuban, Air Mail, French-75, Apple Martini, Alligator, JOC, Scarlett O'Hara, Bloody Mary and others). The establishment, which plays ping-pong and other table games, and on Thursdays (after 20:00) - poker, is open 24/7.

At Pier Bar (service - Khmer, Russian and English) you will be able to order cocktails, barbecue and draft beer ($ 1), and those who visit the establishment on any Saturday can have fun at a Latin American party.

Dolphin Shack Beach Bar serves vodka cocktails at happy hour for $ 1, draft beer for $ 0.50 and barbecues for $ 3 during happy hours. The dance floor is open air.

Utopia is a hangout place with cheap beer, a pool in the middle of a dance floor and good music (they dance to pop and dubstep, and also have live performances).

Gambling tourists will love visiting the following casinos:

  • Holiday Palace Casio (equipped with 200 slot machines and 10 tables for roulette, baccarat and blackjack);
  • Queenso Casino (tournaments are often held at the tables for playing baccarat and club poker; almost every day there is a cash game here);
  • Sokha Vegas Casino (open around the clock).

In my opinion, in such a large country as Cambodia, there are only 3 attractions:Angkor, Sihanoukville beach town and Phnom Penh Genocide Museum.

The immense Angkor complex and all associated satellite structures are located in and around the town of Siem Reap.

A corrosive tourist will need at least three days to climb into all the holes and all the stairs in the countless temples and complexes of Greater Angkor, and therefore the question of evening leisure naturally arises.

The following options came to my mind (add salt and pepper to your liking):

1. Pub Street (Siem Reap) in the center of the Old Town and its funny, noisy restaurants and cafes;

2. Two or three markets with all kinds of tourist and souvenir junk

3. Antique mowing costume shows, the leitmotif of which is the stories and dances of mythical heavenly whores;

4. Well, the testing of Cambodian whores connected with point 3, only now modern, living, made of flesh and blood, all the more this stuff in the city in bulk and almost for nothing.

In this text, we will consider the third position.

There are four main (I emphasize, main!) Theatrical shows in the city:

- Apsara & old traditional Khmer dance, Koulen Restaurant, Sivatha Street, Siem Reap, Cambodia

- Smile of Angkor ( Smile of Angkor , No. 12-13, Sivatha (St.), Mondul 2 Village, Sangkat Svay Dangkum, Siem Reap)

- Broadway show of a certain Rosana (Rosana Broadway,National Road No. 6 - Chong Koasou Village, Slor Kram Commune, Siem Reap 855)

- Traditional Khmer dances at the ACODO children's center (Traditional Khmer Dance at ACODO Orphanage, Tonle Sap Road (Phnom Kom) - Watsvay Village, Siem Reap)

I can't really say anything about everything except the first, except that snippets and rumors from the Angkor Beer Discussion on Pub Street.

I know that in “Angkor Smile” the price for a show with a dinner is about $ 40, but many pay 50 or even 60, because it is always crowded here, mega-buses with citizens of China and Japan are parachuted here. and everyone knows how disciplined, close-knit and monolithic they are. That is, you can crawl through the buffet, and during the performance the hubbub is unimaginable…. Tickets must be taken in advance, say, at the agencies on Pub Street.

They also say that this show belongs to Thais, and instead of physiologically correct girls, ladyboy`s work in it. So take a photo after the concert with caution :-).

The action itself is on a level: laser effects, choreography and acrobats, but these ladyboys, when they are not busy in the room, stand by the stage and constantly laugh wildly, probably attract the attention of potential customers. A friend wanted to run into them with a chair ...

And one more nuance: this “Angkor Smile” is located on a rather remote outskirts, so we need to take care of the return flight, say, agree with a tuk-tuk or a taxi to be there by 21.00: the same friend said that he ran along the gullies, sticking out his tongue, while at an exorbitant price did not persuade some bastard tucker ...

In the same “ass of the world” there is a pedophile show in the ACODO children's center. Western European or American mature aunts and uncles simply come off here: they squeeze cute Khmer children before and after, clap with all their might and shout “bravo” and “encore” with approval, give gifts and money,
communicate in English or French (here these are almost state languages).In short, everything is as the great Madonna and Jolie bequeathed.

It seems not bad, but we once discussed the topic with one guy, an English volunteer, and this is what he said.

Children, mostly boys from poor peasant families, are very eager to come here. They hope to go out on a bright road, and all that, but they just love to dress up, paint, sing and dance, love gifts and
courtship, do not disdain private communication, and on the contrary, the whole system only welcomes it. For this they work every day: trainings in the morning, a concert in the evening, sleep at night?

And then there is hack on the side - dancers and mini-shows in hotels, clubs or private parties ...

And they also have bosses, each of whom has almost a ton of gold and stones hanging on their bodies, and in the garage there are whole cavalcades of top-end cars. SUVs are very respected there - the roads are so-so.

For what I bought from an Englishman - for that I sell, although what is incredible in that? Everything is quite obvious for countries with comprador regimes.

The performance starts at 18.30 and lasts 45 minutes, and it is as if free, all relying on donations from the audience. And now I google it and find out that in 2013 they are already opening their own restaurant with a stage - well, show business forever ...

Rosana Broadway in a nutshell. Almost a twin of Angkor's Smile, only without eating. And so the price is the same, and transvestites and other ladyboys are the same (within the meaning of course). That is, it is a classic cabaret, as, for example, in Thailand Tiffany Show, Fantasea or Alcazar.

This economy is located 10-15 minutes from Pub Street and every day at 7:15 pm and 9:00 pm shows about 15 different topics, which include in great detail the culture and music of the countries of the world popular in the city, i.e. Cambodia, Japan, Vietnam, England, China, India and Korea and etc ...

The main thing to remember: you may be almost the only “white” there - the Chinese and Indians, the Japanese and Koreans rule there!

Our tip and choice is Apsara Dance at Koulen Restaurant.

Firstly, it is very close to Pub Street, you can walk on foot, and after the show, return and fill

fire of impressions in a favorite pub. The show starts at 19.30, ends at about 9 pm, so life on the local “Arbat” is just beginning.

Secondly, the price. Officially - $ 12 and here I give one more piece of advice: do not be lazy, come to Kulen in the afternoon, or in the morning, catch some administrator or waiter and agree with him about a table for the evening, and the most trump card, near the stage. It's very easy to do, the service is really friendly and bribe-taking: we got a separate table with 3 chairs right at the podium after I offered 30 bucks without a receipt. Rather, I asked like “do I need a piece of paper from you?”, To which the aunt-admin waved her hands “know, know”, and then asked my name and summed up “know problems fo yu, Mr. Alex” in decent English.

The funny thing is that since two-year-old Masha she I didn't take any money at all, although they put a chair. It is clear that our thirty floated past the box office, but formally the bakshish amounted to a ridiculous $ 6 - isn't it lovely? 🙂

And thirdly, the tavern Apsara Dance is a really cool show, as all experts and amateurs talk about. Everything is fine-tuned, no amateur performances, excellent lighting and musical design. Priverfood will say that there are no bells and whistles such as laser shows - well, to hell with them. After all, all the same, people want and go to see how the “ancient” Khmers or legendary apsaras danced. And here everything is very up to par! The performance lasts a small hour, and consists of 6-7 numbers. Watch our digest video - everything seems to be well filmed and visible there.

The restaurant is filled with a mostly European-looking audience, there are noticeably fewer Asians, but any people are still troublesome: there are too many people, probably several hundred. Approximately 20-25 long tables, each of which has 20-30 people, probably based on the concept “one bus - one table”. The tables are facing the stage, and people sit uncomfortably, sideways, pulling their necks, twisting their spines. And from the distant tables in general, probably, nothing is visible.

Further, behind the audience, there is a pantry area. Cooks immediately, on the spot, cook, fry, soar, put fresh food on the plates, people patiently stand in hefty lines for each knife and ladle worker, and cold snacks are swept away immediately and rarely served.
The general background is clearly negative, especially the retirement-age ladies grumble, like “we were coughing so hard, and such a bummer at the buffet” ...People go into circles around tables with empty trays and dishes instead of watching a concert - this is, of course, cruel.

Again, advice from us - if you are an independent traveler, and not a “bus driver”, then come in advance, at 6 pm for an hour. The buffet is already working, but no one is there, they ate calmly, and then they took a bottle of wine, settled down in the first row, stretched out their legs and spit at everyone from above ... 🙂

I can't say anything good about the food itself. She's nothing, and if I speak in my own words, it's just shit. We just took advantage of the advice to come early, and bite and break everything that we can. At first it seems that the choice is huge, but in the dry edible residue there are only "trash" ones, that is, small and harsh shrimps, and chicken kebabs, for which you just have to stand in a terrible line.

Drink. Experienced tramps know that in Asia it is very common to have something to eat for free, but then pay exorbitant prices for drinks. In Kulen, the story is the same: for example, a can of local 0.33 beer weighed 7 bucks. We took a bottle of French dry red. There were three items on the menu on this topic, they took the average for $ 40, brought a bubble of the cheapest look and taste - as they say, “thank you for being alive”! And what, there with burned alcohol everything is like in our rush, skates can be easily dropped. Or an umbrella.

The summary is simple: do not expect to indulge your stomach in this place, look and run to the right places, and the price of $ 12 per ticket in this case does not allow the “toads” to strangle you.

Be sure to stay after the show and watch what happens on stage. The artists, lined up in 2 rows, stand with a sad look, and the audience is jumping around and taking pictures. A very comical sight, especially when the Chinese do it. The Chinese comrades have a certain behavioral stereotype: they almost always, at all tourist sites in the world, show a “goat” through the lens. Like, the victory will be ours, probably ... 🙂

In our film, some clowns really made fun, but it seems to me that our Mashulya was especially good, who at first just stood in a column between the “apsaras”, was imbued with the moment, and then began to dance, and overshadowed everyone. Although it's me ... ah, I'm a father ... 🙂

Well, for the patient, I'll tell you why this topic has such a dirty name, that is, who are the “apsaras”.

Once upon a time, gods and demons fell ill at the same time. Moreover, no medications helped the treatment: neither cannabis tinctures, nor injections of priceless diacetylmorphine, delivered by pull from the “golden triangle”, nor only the invented JWN smoking mixtures. And then the great Vishnu, after consulting with the great Brahma and Shiva, suggested that the diseases begin to churn the ocean in order to get the elixir of immortality - the miraculous “amrita”.

There is nothing to do, they caught a large turtle in the Okiyan sea and hoisted on it the Navel of the Earth, which they wrapped with an infinitely long snake Va Suki, some of them took hold of the head, some by the tail of the reptile. and let's churn.

The result is a natural churn, only on a universal scale.

A little later, various things began to appear. Now horses and elephants, then trees, and then suddenly precious stones, gold and currency in cash collection bags. Sometimes cute babes came up, for example, Lakshmi went to the all-encompassing Va Suka, who managed to insert his tail everywhere ... 🙂

Long or short, but while everyone was waiting for the appearance of amrita, a red-faced, hoarse aunt named Sura, who turned out to be the goddess of drunkenness, chuckled from the depths. She had, as they say, with her, and after a few hours no one was knitting a bast, fraternization began instead of churning, and the next morning the men could not remember what happened yesterday and why this little dark-haired woman was wearing my shirt. Brahma approached everyone and in a stern voice pronounced a formula like “you, as an honest person, are simply obliged to marry now”.

Please note, by the way, that all these time-consuming events did not affect the health of the characters that was shaking at the beginning of the legend. Why churn, then, if everything is already in order? There is strength for sex, the snake is twisted into a ram's horn a hundred times a day, and they also drink like hussars - something is wrong here, eh?

Be that as it may, the weddings were noisy, the ringed gods and demons again took hold of the ends of the Va Suki snake, but by all indications it seemed that the finish was soon, and at least one canister of amrita should appear, when suddenly a dozen sexy beauties. They took a wait-and-see attitude, they say, what is it you, churbanyo, do not pay attention to us, do not grab our hands and do not drag us into the bushes or down the aisle?

What is there! The Muschins are married now, and you try to argue with some Khalakhal or make her jealous - instantly you will be left without manhood, literally and figuratively.

And dozens of flocks of beauties have appeared and emerged from the ocean, have already filled all the shores, but no one needs them, the great and not so great gods and demons turn back their flu-like noses from them, continuing to wait for the healing amrita.

And then Shiva gathered all the bred girls together, cast an unkind glance and said: “That's what, whores. From now on you will be called apsaras, and it will be your business to please everyone who desires it. And you will also drink, smoke and swear at the same time, and persuade others, especially the righteous, to do so. Questions?"

"Well, we agree!" - answered for all the most nimble, whose name was Kundalini.

On that, they decided, and while they were talking, there were several million more apsaras who immediately scattered all over the world, and with fervor took up their noble mission.

Shiva gave them magical powers: now they can mutate into any creature, take the form of animate or inanimate objects, send curses or madness in love, intrigue against lovers, dissolve marriages, take possession of sleeping hermits and drive potential maniacs crazy.

They love drunken orgies, gambling, beautiful things, expensive cars and luxury real estate. They rarely get pregnant, but if they fly in, then they either have an abortion or throw them on the side.

These are the orderlies of the human forest. They are adored by Asian sculptors and artists; they stand in orderly rows on the walls of Khajuraho and Angkor, Ajanta and Borobudur. On the bas-reliefs and frescoes, they either dance or copulate, and all that way with invention, fun, with a twinkle. Although I am personally surprised that they find attractive in these fat-fleshed, fat-legged prostitutes, although I am not a prude at all ... 🙂

The Apsara Dance Show from Restaurant Koulen clearly shows a double standard. According to legend, we remember that apsaras are cheeky, loud-hearted prostitutes, without complexes and regrets. And in the show, decorous, strict “blue stockings”, wrapped in multi-layered brocade from head to toe, are simply embodied princesses-not laughing and princesses-swans. Little boys pester them in the course of the play - what a zero attention, a kilo of contempt!

In short, tolerant castrated garbage about how to get to the library.

But you can see it once ...
