Tip: if you want to emboss, do it at the very initial stage - before gluing the film, otherwise the hair dryer may melt it. I do the embossing pointwise with a lighter or a candle, so I do not touch the film.

I added brads to the window frame - screws, a few more epoxy stickers and acrylic water droplets. You can use rhinestones, enamel dots or glossy accent. I also wanted to add some bright red accents in the form of starfish.

Now we will prepare the base for the postcard from a sheet of dense white cardstock - with a density of at least 200g / m2. Usually they write "take a sheet and pierce in the middle." It's hard for me to kick in the middle, it turns out crooked all the time, so I do it my own way. I need the base of the postcard 10.5x15.5 cm. I cut a sheet of the desired height - 15.5 cm. There are special tools for creasing, but I curl with an awl at the 10.5 cm mark, bend and iron the fold. And only after that I cut it off exactly along the line of the front side. In my case, the sheet was small, and I had to cut off only a few millimeters. As a result, I get a flat blank for a postcard.

I make sure to always decorate the back of the postcard, and very often the inside. I collect the "back" from scraps of paper that I used on the front of the postcard.

It turns out like this.

The postcard is intended for a boy who dreams of going to the sea and his parents will very soon make this dream come true. Therefore, I create a symbolic ghostly inscription about dreams (using the hot embossing method, I told about it above) right under the inscription with the name of the collection cut from a sheet of scrap paper (do not forget to "age" the edges). How wonderful she came here!
