Ingredients:

  • salted (or pickled) cucumbers - 200-250 g;
  • Korean carrots - about 200 g;

  • vegetable oil (for frying potatoes) - about 80 ml;
  • salt - to taste.

How to make a salad with fries and chicken

  1. We wash the potatoes, peel them, soak them in cold water for several minutes, and then wipe them with dry napkins or a towel. To make French fries, chop the tubers into thin, approximately equal strips. Cover the bottom of a large frying pan with high sides with a layer of vegetable oil (about 1 mm) and heat it up. Cook the fries in small batches so that all the slices cook evenly.
  2. Stirring occasionally, wait for the crust to appear golden brown, then transfer the potatoes to paper napkins to absorb excess oil. If desired, sprinkle the hot potato slices with salt. Prepare the next batches of potatoes in the same way. For a lower calorie option, you can bake the dish instead of frying it.
  3. After boiling and cooling, we disassemble the chicken meat into thin fibers or cut into small pieces.
  4. Remove the cucumbers from the liquid and chop into small cubes.
  5. Chop the Korean carrots with a knife into strips 1-2 cm long.
  6. You can form a layered salad with French fries in one common salad bowl, or divide the ingredients into the required number of servings and immediately place them on plates using a molding ring. Place the first layer of potato slices and coat with mayonnaise.
